FUNCISE was founded in 2004 due to the concern about the health and well-being of children and took upon itself to actively do something about it.
Mother of three, Lesley Curbelo Valdivia gained qualifications in adult and children's fitness and proceeded to put the FUN back into exercise.
"Close to my heart, I didn't like P.E. when I was at school and I wanted to do something that put the fun back into exercise," said Lesley. "I encourage my three daughters to participate in different types of physical activity where they regularly attend their local dance4fun classes."
Lesley and her team work closely with South Lanarkshire Council, North Lanarkshire Council, Glasgow City Council and East Renfrewshire Council. FUNCISE aims to continue to help improve awareness of health and well-being within schools and communities.
Health and well-being is an issue for both children and adults alike with the whole community needing targeted in order to improve children's fitness. Parents also need to be involved.

"FUNCISE are the real deal, the name says it all. They put the fun back into exercise, sport and dance.
"I've used them for sports days, holiday programmes and after school clubs. "I have found them to be very professional and reliable with a very high standard of coaching. The coaches are fun and very motivated and this rubs off on the children."
